George Augustus Oliver Conquest (1837-1901), playwright, theatre manager, acrobat and pantomimist, looking across at the Eagle Tavern, also known as The Grecian Saloon, a public house and entertainment venue transformed into Salvation Army premises in 1882. He is seen standing on top of the Eagle Tavern, also known as The Grecian Saloon, a public house and entertainment venue transformed into Salvation Army premises in 1882.
