Tango craze: the real tea tango, 1913

Sketches made at the tea tango at the Olympia Salle de Danse in Paris. Tea is taken as a reviver by the dancers in the intervals between dances, in contrast to the British tea tango, where tea is taken by spectators, who merely watch professionals perform the dances. Date: 1913
