Illustration engraved by Stanghi, drawn and directed by Pierre Jean-Francois Turpin, and published by Batelli e Figli. Turpin (1775-1840) is considered one of the greatest French botanical illustrators of the 19th century

On the left, a jet wool pinafore with a keyhole in the front to reveal a white blouse with long tight sleeves by Deliss. On the right, a navy and white polka dot silk blouse with pussy cat bow adds extra dash to simle, low-cut lime green wool pinafore, both also from Deliss. Date: 1963
