The photograph shows a hall set out for afternoon tea as on Wednesday this was served while a fundraising red and white sale was held. Hanging on the walls are many banners which can just be identified - includes George Eliot designed by Mary Lowndes Edith Pechey Phipson (Mary Lowndes) a serpent and cockerel which represented Doctors and Surgeons and the lower half of A Montgomerie Beddo (designer unknown) Date: 1909
