Armed London fireman reunited with family, WW2

A London fireman, who volunteered to crew the London Fire Brigade's fireboat Massey Shaw, is reunited with his wife and daughter after returning from the Dunkirk evacuations in which the Massey Shaw fireboat took part during late May and early June 1940. After disembarking at the Lambeth river station a reception was held at Fire Brigade Headquarters, Lambeth, for the volunteers and their families
