Lawrence of Arabia
British archaeologist, soldier, intelligence officer and writer, Thomas Edward Lawrence (1888-1935), known as Lawrence of Arabia. Seen here in RAF uniform on a Brough Superior SS100 motorbike. He changed his name to T. E. Shaw in the 1920s to conceal his identity and notoriety of his previous life leading the Arab revolt.
