Racial Stereotype satire on a horseman from The Rif, Morocco

Postcard from Melilla - a Spanish autonomous city located on the northwest coast of Africa, sharing a border with Morocco. This card is a rather brutal satire on a Traditional Horseman from The Rif or Riff, a mainly mountainous cultural region in the northern part of the Kingdom of Morocco. He is depicted as a 'Fantasy Hero', albeit one ridiculed with a daft appearance. Date: circa 1930s
