Cartoon, An Ironmaster at the Savoy

Cartoon, An "Ironmaster" at the Savoy -- the librettist W S Gilbert in a suit of armour, with the much smaller figure of Richard D'Oyly Carte looking up at him. At the time, The Ironmaster, a play by Pinero, had been successful at a rival establishment, the St James's Theatre, and this is a satirical comment on it.
