First World War dresses, ladies taking afternoon tea
Two ladies take tea together at an outside table under the shade of a parasol. On the left, is a grey and white check taffeta dress with blue hooped bands, pannier pockets and brassard armlet. On the right is a simple dress of marine-blue Georgette trimmed with blue and white check taffeta. Both models were available from Thresher's of Conduit Street, London. Date: 1916
