Picture Postcard - Humour
A humorous write-away postcard allowed the sender to write a greeting or short note on the front of the postcard at a time when only the recipient's address was permitted on the back of the postcard (ie: pre-1902). An irate man (still in pyjamas and nightcap) shakes his fist out of a window at a speedily-retreating smilingcat burglar who has pinched a dead rabbit. Artist: Evelyn Stuart Hardy
