American Samoa - Pago Pago - production of copra

Pago Pago, Capital of American Samoa - the cultivation of Coconut palms (Cocos nucifera) for the production of copra, the dried flesh of the coconut. Coconut oil is extracted from copra, making it an important agricultural commodity for many coconut-producing countries. It also yields coconut cake, which is mainly used as feed for livestock. Date: 1905

Charleys Aunt by Brandon Thomas. Much the same design as the previous item, but in black and white, with a border of flowers. Top of the flyer reads Under the direction of the Author'. The other lines are the same as before, "Its Enough to make a Cat Laugh" and "From Brazil where the Nuts come from". Touring to the Theatre Royal in Bath on 11th September 1908. Date: 1908
