Chapel Royal choristers
Seven Chapel royal boy choristers make their way along the street towards Buckingham Palace for an 11 o'clock service, on the occasion of the King's return to London. The Chapel Royal choir has existed since before the Norman Conquest -- the distinctive State uniforms seen in this photograph date from the reign of Charles II. The choir consists of six adult male singers and ten boys.
