Three effective spring women's clothing. (Left), wrap-around afternoon frock, black Liberty satin contrast is obtained with gold embroidered brocade of the blouse-jacket, finished with tassels. (Middle), blouse being of soft white chiffon with ruffles while a touch of vivid emerald is given in the band meeting in a point above the v-neck. (Right), bolero costume in fine cloth of warm stone colour, there is a touch of Bulgarian embroidery on the shoulders and sleeves.

Two women wearing tunic frocks for early spring. (left) In deep prunells chiffon velvet embroidered in softer tones. Front panel is of ottoman silk, showing a small guimpe of ficelle net, The sleeves are of ottoman silk tucked from shoulders to wrist. (right) The lastest fashion tunic frock in champagne coloured cloth with thick rouleaux of silk cord. The underdress is embroidered in a handsome design of the cloth applied to fine net.

Marshall and Snelgrove's nightdress with mauve flowers on a white background. Debenham & Freebody petticoat of stiffened nylon chiffon and white nylon bra with lace inserts by Exquisite Forms. Fairytale nightie from Debenham & Freebody of fine 15 denier white nylon edged with nylon lace ruffles. Housecoat in closely woven striped cotton, ground-length with two deep pockets and white frilled organza trimmings. Designed and made by Angela Gore for Woollands, Rackhams and Dalys. Date: 1961
