St Pauls Cathedral - Section through Wrens Dome

A section drawing through the dome of St Paul's Cathedral, the architectural masterpiece of Sir Christopher Wren. The inner brick dome stands 218 ft from the floor of the cathedral, with the top of the stone lantern pinnacle rising a further 100 feet into the London air. An internal brick cone supports the outer dome and the stone lantern

Workhouse Infirmary, Havil Street, Camberwell, London

The administrative offices of Camberwell St Giles poor law infirmary on Havil Street (now St Giles Road) in south east London. The offices themselves fronted onto Brunswick Road (now Brunswick Villas). The first workhouse buildings on the site dated from 1818, but from the 1870s its medical facilities greatly expanded. It later became St Giles Hospital
