Couple kissing outside Carnaby Street boutique

A couple kissing in front of iconic Carnaby Street boutique, I was Lord Kitchener's Valet. Hanging outside can be seen a variety of men's vintage clothing including a naval peacoat and an Indian style jacket. The shop was renowned for its eclectic selection of second hand and vintage clothing, especially military stock. The couple themselves are the height of fashion. He's wearing patterned lemon yellow flared trousers while his blonde companion is wearing a red mini dress with white go go boots. Date: 1966

Boots advertisement warning Remember, there are no Chemists Shops in the Trenches. Their suggestions for comforts to send to men at the front include foot comfort, Meloids for a sore throat, peppermint tablets, tinned heat pocket stove, vermin powder and water sterilizers. Date: 1915
