Neely-Fast-Way Air Service, Long Beach, CA, September 11, 1959-1967.- Converted to fire tanker, July 1960.- Flown as number E75 (Later number E78 and number E68).TBM Inc, Tulare, CA, April 25, 1967-1982.-David Tallichet-MARC, Chino, CA, September 1982-2017.as 23060-LN-T.- Loaned to USAFM, March AFB, CA, 1983-1991.- Restored Chino, CA 1988-1989.- Flew in movie Memphis Belle as 124485-Memphis Belle.- Damaged in taxy accident (repaired), Fayetteville, NC, November 3, 1995.- Loaned to American Airpower Museum, Farmingdale, NY, 2000.- Loaned to 1941 Historic Aircraft Group, Geneseo, NY, circa 2007-2017.-- Flown as Memphis Belle. Service history:- built by Douglas at Long Beach as a B-17G-85-DL Fortress, delivered to USAAF as 44-83546 on 3 April 1945. To Topeka, KS for modifications before going to Lubbock, TX for short-term storage. Moved to Patterson Field, Ohio for storage. Converted to CB-17G and assigned to Air Transport Command at San Francisco. Then assigned to Washington DC and to Germany. In 1948 was redesignated VB-17G (staff transport) and assigned to Andrews AFB, followed by Offutt AFB and to Japan during Korean War. To CB-17G. Assigned 501st ASG, Wiesbaden [Erbenheim], West Germany Jan 1, 1948. Redesignated B-17G. Assigned 7160th ABG, Wiesbaden [Erbenheim], West Germany Jul 1, 1948. Assigned to SAC Oct 13, 1948. Redesignated VB-17G Oct 16, 1948. Assigned to 3902nd ABG, Offutt AFB, NE Nov 12, 1948.To storage at Davis Monthan AFB 1954. Date: circa 1970s
