Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret
Princess Elizabeth (right) and Princess Margaret Rose at the last of the Duke of York's Camps, at Balmoral in August 1939. In 1919, the Princesses father, then Duke of York, had become President of the Boys Welfare Association - a position he would accept only on condition that no ceremonial would be attached.
