Alaskan Glaciers - Alaska - We came in to land at Elmendorf Field, the big Army air base, having come over amazing glaciers like wide rivers. Date: 1952

Kamakura Daibutsu - Japan - Daibutsu It is a bronze statue of seated Buddha, 600 years old, and in a nice outdoor setting. Smaller than I was expecting, smaller than several in Rangoon
