Stuck Up - A Punting Disaster
Two illustrations of the phrase Stuck Up. In the main scene, an unlucky man is stuck on his pole as a quiet afternoon punting with his lady loves goes rather wrong (he has lost his hat too!). In the smaller side scene, a stuck up, middle-aged woman does not approve of the young couple canoodling behind a parasol, raising her nose up at them as she passes. Date: circa 1906
