Large birch bright moth, Taleporia tubulosa (Pale chequered brown moth, Cochleophasia tessellea), and black or stinking horehound, Ballota nigra. Handcoloured copperplate drawn and engraved by John Curtis for his own British Entomology, being Illustrations and Descriptions of the Genera of Insects found in Great Britain and Ireland, London, 1834.
