A photograph taken at Devonshire House Historical Costume Ball held during the Diamond Jubilee festivities of 1897, of King George V (then Duke of York), dressed as George Clifford, Earl of Cumberland (distinguished Naval commander in the reign of Elizabeth I and one of her favourites) and Queen Mary (then Duchess of York) in the costume of a lady of the Court of Marguerite of Valois, wife of Henry of Navarre (1572), the hero of Ivry (1590). 10x8 Print in an MDF Wooden Frame with 180 gsm Satin Finish Paper. Glazed using shatter proof thin plexi glass. Frame thickness is 1 inch and depth 0.75 inch. Fluted cardboard backing held with clips. Supplied ready to hang with sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers. Spot clean with a damp cloth. Packaged foam wrapped in a card.
