Indian Elephant in London Zoo 1896
Jung Perchard the Indian elephant was presented to Prince of Wales (Edward VII), during the shooting expeditions in Indian twenty years before in 1876. At the time he was a much smaller elephant, where he was shipped to London, spending the rest of his life in Regent's Park, London Zoo, giving thousands of youngsters long rides on his back. 10x8 Print in an MDF Wooden Frame with 180 gsm Satin Finish Paper. Glazed using shatter proof thin plexi glass. Frame thickness is 1 inch and depth 0.75 inch. Fluted cardboard backing held with clips. Supplied ready to hang with sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers. Spot clean with a damp cloth. Packaged foam wrapped in a card.
