Gazing at the ruins of their home, which collapsed soon after they fled - tenants of a house in Stepney. The house was typical of much of old housing in London. The three-storey house in Swedenborg Square, Stepney had nineteen tenants and showed signs of collapse on the night of August 8 1961. Date: 1961
