The Foochow Mission Cemetery, Fuzhou, China. Graves of martyred Missionaries in China. Contains the bodies of 11 missionaries killed in the Kucheng (Gutian County) Massacre of 1895, 135 Protestant missionaries (and 53 children) killed during the Boxer Rebellion of 1900, which also saw 16, 000 Chinese Christinas disappear, the great majority killed for their faith. The cemetery was demolished during Cultural Revolution. Date: circa 1910s
