Promotional postcard showing The Follies, a pierrot troupe founded by H G Pelissier in 1895. Taken by popular theatrical photographers Hana Studios of London, this shows the troupe during their residency at the Apollo Theatre in London which they made their West End base from 2nd December 1908. Not surprisingly Pelissier, the life and soul of the troupe, appears centre stage at the top of the steps. Date: circa 1908
