Esme Wright, formerly Esme Little, the wife of David Wright, who he met during the 1930s when she was working as a model, pictured here in Richmond Park, London in 1939. Esme was the inspiration, model and muse for many of David Wrights pin-ups, published in The Sketch magazine during World War II. In December 1943, Esme appeared as herself in The Sketch under the title, My Favourite Model - Mrs David Wright wearing overalls and a seductive expression! Date: 1939
