Elisabeth Scott, architect, pictured at the time of the opening of the Fawcett building at Newnham College, Cambridge, a project on which she worked. Scott had come to prominence when her design was chosen in 1928 for the new Shakespeare Memorial Theatre, Stratford-on-Avon, which was subsequently opened in 1932. Date: 1938
