GEORGE CECIL WELD-FORESTER, 3rd Baron Forester (1807-1886) British Tory and Conservative politician. Member of Parliament for Wenlock from 1828, a seat he would hold for 46 years. In 1873 he became Father of the House of Commons as the longest serving member of the House, before succeeding his elder brother a year later as third Baron Forester and entering the House of Lords.
