At the Exposition Coloniale (Colonial Exhibition) in Paris, the Duke and Duchess of York are welcomed and presented with a bouquet of flowers by a group of dancers from French Indochina. Alongside the Duchess is the uniformed Marshal Lyautey, Commissioner-General of the exhibition, which was an attempt to showcase French colonial possessions and the people that lived in those territories.
