The Count of Luxembourg adapted by Basil Hood from the German of A. M. Wilner and Robert Bodansky, with music by Franz Lehar. (Theater and der Wien, Vienna, 12th November 1909). First produced at the Dalys Theatre in London on 20th May 1911. Singer, Adele Didier, pushes her hand through the canvas on an easel in Armand Brissets studio. The count, on the other side, kisses it (Act I). They undergo an arranged marriage, hidden from each other by the easel. Date: 1911
