City of New York steamer
The City of New York, a screw-steamer built by Messrs Tod and Macgregor, of the Clyde, Glasgow, for the Inman Line (the Liverpool, New York and Philadelphia Steam-ship Company). Launched in April 1861, it was ultimately wrecked on Daunt Rocks off Queenstown, Ireland, in March 1864. Date: 1861
