The Chinese Bungalow by Marion Osmond and James Corbet from Osmonds novel written in 1923, starring Matheson Lang. First produced at The Grand Theatre in Hull on 2nd October 1925 with the first London performance at The Kings Theatre, Hammersmith, on 23rd November 1925. The image is of Yuan Sing, holding a letter from his English wifes sister, Charlotte. It says. Come at once. We are in great danger. Personal Farewell Visit [of Matheson Lang] prior to the Canadian Tour. Touring to The Empire, Liverpool on 26th August 1926? The Chinese Bungalow was a three act melodrama set in the Far East. It was adapted for film in 1926, in 1930, and again in 1940. The artist is Charles Buchel. Date: 1925
