Boys saw and plane wood in the carpentry workshop at the St Pancras Schools at Leavesden In Hertfordshire. The schools were opened in by the St Pancras Board of Guardians to house pauper children away from the workhouse. As well as classrooms and dormitories, the schools had their own laundry, infirmary, and swimming baths. Date: 1893
