Captain Scotts cabin on RSS Discovery, showing a bunk bed and drawers underneath. The ships first mission was the British National Antarctic Expedition, carrying Robert Falcon Scott and Ernest Shackleton on their first, successful journey to the Antarctic, known as the Discovery Expedition. In 1936 she was presented to the Boy Scouts Association as a static training ship for Sea Scouts in London.
