The Captain of the School by Parry and Mouillot
The Captain of the School, by Edward A Parry and Frederick Mouillot, first produced at the Gaiety Theatre, Manchester, in November 1910 and at the Gaiety Theatre, London, in December 1910. The broad comedy is based on the teachers inability to control the pupils. The young girl with red hair is the headmasters daughter. She is in love with the 19-year-old captain of the school. The latter has just knocked down one of the teachers, who also has his eye on her. Date: 1910
