Waltherplatz - Bolzano (or Bozen in German) - a city and comune in the Trentino-Alto Adige/Sudtirol region of Italy in the far north east of the country. This card shows Walther Square, with a statue of Walther von der Vogelweide, a German minstrel (minnesinger). Before World War I (at the time this picture was taken), Bozen was part of the AustroHungarian county of Tyrol. Date: circa 1910s
