A bearded man stands in front of 3 ornately carved columns
Black and white. A bearded man stands in front of 3 ornately carved columns which are falling into disrepair - one of them has lost its middle section. At least of of the carvings represents Buddha. There are some bottles and bowls with distinctive shapes next to this column. Believed to be an image of some part of the Ajanta cave complex. This complex dates from the 2nd century BCE, and is located in the Aurangabad region of Maharashtra, India.. Part of Box 365, Miscellaneous Part 1. Slide number 5. Date: circa 1900
