Family photograph showing the Duchess of Abercorn with her four children including (centre), Lady Cynthia Hamilton. Cynthia Elinor Beatrix Spencer (1897 - 1972), known until her marriage as Lady Cynthia Hamilton was the daughter of the third Duke of Abercorn, and married Viscount Althorp (later Earl Spencer) in 1919. She is the paternal grandmother of Diana, Princess of Wales and great-grandmother of Prince William of Wales, Duke of Cambrdige.
