8 d [Eight Pence] a Mile by George Grossmith (11 May 1874 6 June 1935) and Fred Thompson (24 January 1884 10 April 1949). First produced at the New Alhambra Theatre in 1913. Front page of four-page cardboard flyer for the revue (New Stop Press Revue). Preceded at 8 by the Finest Variety Programme in London. The costumes were by Paul Poiret, a leading French designer of the period. General Directors were A. Charlot and M. V. Leveaux. Date: 1913
