A silver suffragette pepper pot or muffineer a small pot with a removable lid - the head of the figure. Holes in the bonnet dispense pepper or sugar. The figure is of a woman wearing a poke bonnet and ribbon, and carrying a sandwich board. On one side are the words, Votes for Women, whilst the other states, We Can Make Things Hot For You. The piece was made by Saunders and Shepherd ltd. Bears a Chester hallmark for 1908. Date: 1908
