Statue of Herbert Ingram in Boston
Herbert Ingram (1811-1860) was the founder of the Illustrated London News. This memorial, designed by Alexander Munro, was unveiled in October, 1862 and stands in the Market Place of Boston, Lincolnshire. The allegorical figure, at the base of the monument, celebrates Ingrams efforts to bring the first piped water to the town. St Botolphs Church, known as the Boston Stump, is in the background"
