A scene from the Gaumont film adaptation of the H. G. Wells book, The First Men on the Moon, in which the author approved all dresses and supervised the production. Scene shows the Inventor of the Sphere making the Grand Lunar understand him! Apparently this film is now lost. Which is a shame as it looks superb. Date: 1919
