Edward Blackmore, an Eastbourne plumber and adopted member of the North American Sioux Indian Tribe. In 1964 he travelled to South Dakota to meet the tribe, and during his visit he was made a Chief. He became an international expert on the tribe since first becoming fascinated by the subject in 1919. Date: 1967
