The newly-crowned Queen Elizabeth II, attends the Scottish National Service of Dedication and Thanksgiving at the High Kirk of Edinburgh (St Giles Cathedral). The ceremony involved the crown, sceptre and sword to the Queen who accepted it and then presented it back to the Bearer. The service took place on 24 June, 22 days after the Queens Coronation.
