The wedding of Prince George of Battenberg (1892-1938), 2nd Marquess of Milford Haven and Countess Nadejda Mikhailovna de Torby, the daughter of an exiled Russian Grand Prince. They were married in the Chapel of the Russian Embassy in London and at the Chapel Royal, St Jamess Palace on 15 November 1916. George was the third child and eldest son of Princess Victoria of Hesse and Prince Louis of Battenberg, and the uncle of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh
