A wooden chest covered in plaster from the tomb of PharaoTutankhamun (reigned 13321323 BC) as discovered by Howard Carter among others in 1922 in the Valley of Kings, belongs to the most widely known set of treasures of Ancient Egypt. The chest is magnificently painted and depicts the king in various triumphant scenes, hunting animals or fighting in battle. Date: circa 1925
