Peter Gerald Hain (b 1950), British Labour politician, has served in various ministerial posts, including Secretary of State for Work and Pensions and Secretary of State for Wales. A prominent member of the anti-apartheid movement, he is seen here with others on an anti-apartheid protest outside a branch of Barclays Bank in Putney, south west London -- at the time Barclays was investing in South African bonds and had subsidiaries in South Africa.
