Royal Ascot fashions for mother & debutante daughter
Two dresses for a debutante and her mother to wear to Royal Ascot in 1933 from Derry and Toms. On the left is a gown of white lawn embroidered in Wedgwood blue, and trimmed with kilted ruffles. Printed black circe chiffon and cire lace make the second ensemble. Closely moulded to the figure, the lace flares outwards at the hem, giving it a graceful, heightening air. Date: 1933
