Plaque to Canadian Artillery D21 Battery, Zonnebeke
The plaque is on the outside wall of the re-built church. The battery was stationed in Zonnebeke during Third Ypres, October-November 1917. Excavations between 1987 and 1989 uncovered the remains of an old Abbey and a 4 metres deep Australian dug-out. Date: 2016
