Marquess and Marchioness of Anglesey
Sir Charles Henry Alexander Paget, 6th Marquess of Anglesey GCVO (1885-1947) and his bride, Lady Victoria Manners, a daughter of the 8th Duke of Rutland, returning from their honeymoon to their stately home, Beaudesert Hall on the eastern edge of Cannock Chase in Staffordshire. At the Guildhall they were welcomed with a speech from the Mayor of Lichfield, and the Mayoress presented the Marchioness with a bouquet. In this photograph gamekeepers and gardeners are seen drawing the couples carriage through the grounds, while others push from behind
